MOTHERS MURDER MALEVOLENCE!
It’s not mother’s day
if you were wondering. However, must we wait until that day before we
appreciate the owner of our first residential sites? Maami, Mamma, Iya,
mother, Ummi…in your language, how do you say “mother”?
I was conversing with a
friend few months ago. While the discussion was ongoing, she received a call
and immediately she hanged on, our discussion swerved into another route. She was never going to stop saying Mum did
this and that: “she buys, amends, cares, pampers…she dared hunger to ensure
my siblings and I never starved to sleep…” she just would not stop!
Her points can be
driven home with innumerable points as mothers were miraculously molded to mold
the lives of their children to taste. A mother cuddles you to bed cheerfully
and behind your back, cries alone. She just want to feel the pain alone no
matter how severe, as long as your own happiness would not be tampered with.
She want to bear your burden, feel your pain even if it is as huge as mountain Everest
or negligible as a prick. In all ramifications, mothers stand for Mercy!
As it became apparent
that Olaitan was not going to round off the eulogy session soon, I reminded her that her mother had a
husband, her father. All she did was give me that funky look and smiled
afterwards.
Mothers
Murder Malevolence. Fathers? They are amazingly superb and in their capability, do too!
