IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU!
Arguably, no one can dispute the whooping enticing feature
Allah deliberately entrust on every female. It is indeed beyond anyone's
comprehension. Beyond what anyone could imagine that a fully covered female
commands attention despite in hijab. Hence, a reason to comport ourselves, most
importantly, our appearance as E'id Fitri makes it down to our midst.
Dear sister in Islam, it's E'id! Dress well! Look good! Wear your
best attire, put on the most beautiful smile not the most revealing outfit. You
will not be seen posing illicitly for selfies at prayer ground. Will you? How
do I win your heart proving to you that you worth more than the 'likes' and ‘comments’
awaiting those pictures on social media. You are priceless Ukhti! Thousands of
likes or complementary comments under those pix of yours will never equate to
your worth.
The just concluded Ramadan preached to us that what you have
in you matters than what is on you. Didn’t it? More of Qur'an, your eyes got acquainted with; more of Knowledge circles, you had dates with; more of Dhikr, your lips
were moistened with. More of those “mores” we should see as Ramadan finally paved
way for Shawwal.
It’s all about the home keepers; devoted wives and mothers, whose
secondary prayer venues were their kitchens; saying Du’a and Dhikr as they
stirred and tasted, dutiful children who eased mothers of their daily chores
There are more to those kitchen scars you sustained while preparing Sahur and Iftar
meals. May Allah crown your strivings with bounteous rewards.
Real men are ones who despite the economy situation labored hard to make
ends meet and spent altruistically in Allah's course; Daddies who remember
Mummies before anyone else in Du’a; caring hubbies who lent hand when the need arose; who said "well done" and "thank you" in appreciation to their spouses when it is deserving or not. Today is about you Sirs!
The “gracefully singles” in the fold. Eleven lunar months
from today should do! May Allah grant your desires and connect you to the best
company you ever dream of before the next. It’s all about you too!
Heavy belles and nursing mothers who fasted, not at the risk
of their health but to seek Allah's boons, those who could not, owing to reasons
spelt out; put on your best attires in commemoration of this day! The belles who
dare not touch the Mushaf are not left out too; 'Eid ground is not forbidden for
you Ukhti!
The aged who wished but could not fast; Grannies and Grandpas
who could only sip from the ocean of fasting memories. Your strength is in
Allah; may He continue to strengthen you, make your lives devoid of panics and
keep you fit. If you can, stroll down to the nearest ‘Eid ground too.
Ramadan babies would not have been offered a gift more special! We cherish you cuties! How many of them? Honorably
uncountable! Lots of love cuties! May Allah preserve you upon goodness and
include you among His loved ones.
Many witnessed the commencement of Ramadan but are no more
today. Our prayer is that Allah forgive them their sins and grant their family
and friends the faith to cope with their eternal exit from this Dunya. If Allah
wishes, this Ramadan may be our last; we beseech him to spare us and grant unto
us, the Grace to witness more Ramadan in life, hale and hearty. The ailing
beings too, may Allah cure them of whichever ailment they are down with.
We are rejoicing this day, not because we are glad to see Ramadan
leave. We are grateful though, for being among those who witnessed that
Glorious month.
To all who indeed gave their best for Allah’s sake and not
for the world to see; those who wished to but could not. To those who have imbibed the lessons and are determined to continue trailing the righteous path cleaved by Ramadan; it is more about you! Do not be left behind! the entire Ummah is on cloud nine1 AlhamduliLlah! We made
it! First day of Shawwal is today! It’s ‘Eid’l Fitri 1437 AH!
It's all about You and Me!
It's all about You and Me!
“The thirst has gone and veins are moistened and reward is
confirmed, if Allah wills”
